You should definitely get the prestige eyeliners, HIP duo if they are on sale, Jessie' s girl quads, Eco tools brushes ( they are so soft). Rite Aid always have buy one get one free sales, definitely take advantage of it. What make-up should I buy with 20 bucks in Rite Aid?

Can you only buy pur mineral make up online?

I would say less is more, especially when you are young. Remember to pick a feature... eyes or mouth! Don't go for bold make-up on both as you'll look over made up.

I would suggest investing in a good foundation. I have tried many and stand 100% behind Clinique because they have a high focus on skin and that is transfered to their foundations.
As for other products..

gurl let me tell you the best way to go is MAC. i like this makeup because when they made their products they realize that their were some dark skinned african americans out there like me lol it is expensive but it is worth it. covergirl tends to make me oily and the queen collection i have to go all the wawy to jackson to find. amc can be ordered online or in a their store or in the mall within a department store. nad if you are not sure how the colors will look on you they will give you a test tube of it to try it on at home and different lightings so that you look great no matter where you go. they will also give you a free makeup makeover and plus they are nice.:D

They work wonders, especially if you apply them with a wet brush/Q-Tip. Max Factor also has a ton of the funky, bright colors that are pretty cool. I use them too!

Anyways, you could buy it at SOME Sephora stores. In some malls, Sheer Cover has a little booth set up randomly, keep an eye out for that. Macy's also is starting to carry Sheer Cover. I buy all my stuff from walmart/boots/target/etc. Foundation is to even out your face, and to do that i use maybelline foundation (1 or 2 squirts is enough) you make want to buy angled sponges to apply, but you can just use your hands. i personally use a skin colored sunscreen called ';virtra'; but its kinda pricey for a concealer, but living in hawaii i need a sunscreen like that anyway. but if you dont want to buy that or cant find it (i buy it at a surfshop that my brother works at so i get it for cheaper) you can buy a stick on coverup/concealer at walmart or boots or target depending where you usually go (i dont know where you live or anything) . then i use two faces blush that is called ';papa dont peach'; its a very orangey sheer orange color. then i use almay mineral face powder and just dust my whole face over so the foundation doesn't come off. i use many different eyeshadow brands but my favorites are loreal paris, almay, wet n' wild, maybellene, and nyc. I only use almays physicians formula almay cream stick eyeliner. i have their purple, brown, and black. I use maybelline's stiletto mascara and i love it. i also use the liquid eyeliner that came with it, its their waterproof one, i've never seen it anywhere besides with the mascara. then i use different brands of lipstick and lipgloss but my favorite lipstick is loreal, and my favorite lip glosses are from rimmel, wet n wild, two faced, loccitaine has amazing lipgloss but because its from france so you'd have to order that online. for lipgloss i also use smackers, and loreal.

BUT BARE MINERALS IT GOES ON TOP OF THE SKIN NOT IN THE OTHER MAKEUP STAYS IN YOUR SKIN FOOR WRINKLES AND STUFF

If you are willing to pay visit your local mall for foundation (Clinique is the best) but if not Almay works well. Eye shadows are a personal choice and can be bought from higher end names (my weakness) or Rimmel/ Loreal HIP/etc at your local Walgreens. To find your best blush color squeeze your hand into a fist for roughly five seconds then look at your fingers. Match that as closely as possible. You can also look at the inside of your lip. For lips, I would try a stain with a gloss. Revelon has stains out as do higher end makeup manufacturors.

They are highly pigmented--similiar to eyeshadows from Urban Decay or even Mac. It's amazing! If you're not into shimmer, they also have the regular 88 Color Palette and it's only around $21. Ask your friends to clean out their make up and share with you the ones that they no longer want or use. You may be able to at least have a start of what you need. (I seldom buy eye shadow or mascara - I get my daughter's leftovers!)

I recently ran out of my Mac Foundation. It lasted extremely long, I bought it my Senior year in high school and now I'm a junior in college. If you are against cruelty to animals, you really shouldn't wear leather either though. A cow's skin is the most valuable part of their dead bodies, so leather isn't just a ';left over';. It's one of the main reasons they are killed.

vegan means NO animal products. that meas no leather and avoiding alot of makeup brands associated with animal products. such as loreal. Rimmel London has alot of products free from animal products and is supose to be cruelty free under the UK aimal rights laws. also MAC is famous for being 'cruelty free', but also has products that arnt entirely vegan.
I dont believe you can be vegan and still wear leather. its a contradiction completely. =|

For the reason my skin is sensitive and I can pinpoint what breaks it out. I love Mac. I get everything from there and if I want a new look I buy new eyeshadows.
we have the same personality but thanks God, i idid stop buying cosmetics now because i forced myself not to visit any cosmetics counters every time i dropped by at the mall. come to think of it.. all makeups have expiration so if i were you, better give it to your friends who's into it or stash away if some of you makeups are already expired. actually, makeups are not that really impt. in our life because sooner or later we will realize we wasted a lot of time and money on that and besides, it's only a girl's accessory or collection. there are so many impt. things to consider other than make up. so plan about it. someday you will realize that makeups is not a big thing for 'us' girs.

Yes it does sound like an obsession. But if you have a lot of makeup that you never plan on using why not find a charity that you can donate it to. Personal care items are big luxuries for people that are struggling to make ends meet. You could make life a little easier for someone else. Single mothers especially do without a lot of personal items because they are trying to raise kids on their own. I know we have a food pantry where I live that is always asking for personal care items. It is something that doesn't get donated alot so it is usually needed.

Try and see past this and imagine the makeup out of that, OR send it all to me cause I love it too and hardly wear any. However, i've stopped myself buying now. I have about 8 small tupperware tubs full at my house. If you have not used your stuff you could sell it on ebay. Since mine has been used a few times I don't think they allow it. Yes it does sound like an obsession. But if you have a lot of makeup that you never plan on using why not find a charity that you can donate it to. Personal care items are big luxuries for people that are struggling to make ends meet. You could make life a little easier for someone else. Single mothers especially do without a lot of personal items because they are trying to raise kids on their own. I know we have a food pantry where I live that is always asking for personal care items. It is something that doesn't get donated alot so it is usually needed.
Your a marketing manager's dream! You've fallen for all the lovely packaging I expect. Try and see past this and imagine the makeup out of that, OR send it all to me cause I love it too and hardly wear any. However, i've stopped myself buying now. Get yourself a lovely ';little'; makeup bag and put in it only that which you really want and use and don't allow yourself any more than will fit in that bag.

They sell individual pieces like lip gloss, scented nail polish, lightly colored eyeshadow, etc as opposed to sets.

Should I buy mineral make up?
I never used mineral make up but I heard its better for the skin and it works really well. If you have used it before or know some who has and seen it tell me what you think of it. The pros and cons and how well is the coverage?Should I buy mineral make up?
ok i have to say i just started using mineral make up a few days ago.... and wow! I went to ulta and was looking around and a girl that works there started trying things on me. She tryed Pur Minerals and I was amazed!! Now let me just say.... i have terrible terrible skin. I have a lot of acne and i mean a lot. All she did was dust some Pur Minerals 4 in 1 foundation on my face and everything was gone. You couldnt see any of my acne and it was amazing. It felt like i had nothing on and it took like 2 seconds to put on. The coverage is a thousand times better than bare minerals. bare minerals doesnt cover anything. But this is amazing and it feels like there is nothing on ur face, but it loooks incredible and covers everything. But, the lady that worked at ulta did not use the Pur Minerals ';chizzle brush';. Instead she used the ';Bare Minerals Heavenly Face Brush';. I asked her why she didnt just use the brush that went with it and she said it gives a lot more coveraage.....which it does! The heavenly face brush is expensive...30 dollars....but it lasts forever and works very well with the product to give great coverage!!! I dont reccomend to get the starter kit for the pur minerals because it is kind of pointless. But right now at Ulta they are having a buy one get one free deal for the pur minerals which is a great deal because for one foundation it is 25 dollars so if u go to ulta you can get 2 for one! its a great deal and make sure u buy the heavenly face brush bc its totally wotrth it!! And this is coming from someone with terrible skin!!! there are no cons its allllll good!! I hope u try it!! good luck!!! :)Should I buy mineral make up?

My niece is a professional model (she's 16) and believe me, it's not as easy to break into the business and make it as you may think. She was 'Discovered', doing it on her own wouldn't have been as easy. I wanted to be a model also when I was young but although I was pretty I was NOT photogenic. It takes a lot more than being pretty to be a model. If the camera doesn't love you, it's over. Many models really aren't that beautiful but the camera loves them, they couldn't take a bad picture if they tried. Stay in school, which my niece is also doing (she works her modeling gigs on the side) and get an education. Having a love for makeup, color, etc, doesn't mean that you are model material. Maybe you can get a degree and work in fashion someday?

Where can i buy a Make up Box from?
I thought it was going to be a simple thing to look for, but i was proves wrong!
I just want a simple largish size make up box, not sold with gifts in.

I would lean towards pale natural taupe %26amp; light beige tones for your eyes, brown eye liner %26amp; mascara. A light gloss is always nice for your lips as well (clear of course).
since your skin is pale, to offset any redness, you should use a bronzer/bronze powder instead of pink blush.
first start w/ some foundation that matches your skin tone (I recommend L'Oreal liquid foundation maybe in ';ivory'; for you). Only dabble about a dime size on your fingers and then pat it onto your face using finger tips, in especially red areas.
Next use a powder (Physician's formula is a bit pricey ($12) but lasts so long and is GREAT. Get the kind that's like part pale peach, part bronze powder, and a lil bit of yellow powder)
Use the brush to dust the pale peach powder all over your face (over the foundation). Then dust on some of the yellowish powder all over, and finally use the bronzer to bronze just your cheeks (smile and put it on the part of your cheek that sticks out most).
You don't need much lipstick if you have full lips. Try a dusty rose color, or just a tube of LipSmacker Squeezy Strawberry lip gloss.
For your eyes, you can use some of the bronzer, or you could use grays, pinks, or light blues.

If not a good idea is to go to claires and get them each a pair of earrings or a necklace. The earrings are on buy 2 get 3rd pair free. They also do cute little nail vanish sets etc which are 3 for 2... so well worth looking in there.

Try Natio, L'oreal and Lancome. They aren't really expensive and are mostly quite good. What is the best make-up to buy from stores?
The new loreal hip brand is great and you can buy it in drugstores and its not too expensive. Try their eyeshadows and color juice lip gloss. On the higher end i like Makeup Forever, Shiseido, and Nars which you can find at sephora. Try shiseido's hydro-poweder eyeshadow its awesome on its own or on top of another color. Makeup Forever has an awesome palate of all over colors....in every color imaginable. all their products are water proof and highly pigmented so a little bit goes a long way! EBAY!!! You can find some expensive, high quality department store products in huge 'grab bag' bundles for a fraction of what you'd pay in the store. I love Guerlain lipsticks and moisturizers and they range from 26.50-100.00 in department store. I was able to get 10 lipsticks (26.50each) for 9.00+4.00 s+h! Great deal. Also bought a 65.00 moisturizer for only 6.00+5.00 s+h. Ebay offers some great deals even though you have to be careful. It depends on what you want prce wize and brand wize. I usually just go to Target, I think they have the best selection from brands like Covergirl to Maybelline etc. And the prices are fair. If your going for brands like Chanel, Makeup Forever, Nars, Urban Decay, Bare Escentuals, and pretty much every major brand under the sun, go to Sephora. It can be a tad bit pricey depending on what you get but the selection is unbeatable! And they carry the best of the best so you know every product is going to be wonderful!
